Statement of Warranty

Acme & Dorf Door Corp. (ADDC) Steel Door and Frame products meet or exceed the performance and quality requirements specified and adopted by the National Association of Architectural Metal Manufacturers – Hollow Metal Manufacturers Association Division (NAAMM-HMMA).

ADDC Steel & Wood Doors and Frames are warranted against defects in workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of supply.

Rust perforation warranty is null and void should the product be subjected to highly corrosive conditions caused by cleaning solutions, chemicals, or corrosive atmospheres. This warranty is not to exceed that of the paint manufacturer.

Terms and Conditions

1. A new door will be offered in replacement of the defective door. The defective door shall be returned to Acme & Dorf for evaluation. Evaluation results will determine replacement or repair status. Door replacement or repair will be the only obligation of Acme & Dorf. The labor/freight expense associated with the return of a defective door and/or installation of its replacement will not be assumed by Acme & Dorf.
2. This guarantee does not extend to failure caused by excessive wear and tear, physical abuse, improper installation, unauthorized cuts or bores, improper handling, storage or shipment after delivery from the factory.
3. This guarantee does not extend to damage by abnormal conditions of temperature or moisture or damage by acts of nature, such as earthquakes, flood, hurricane, storm or by acts of aggression (destruction, vandalism), fire, smoke or riot.
4. Factory-applied gel coat or color topcoat is excluded from this warranty.
5. Fiberglass door face splitting that does not exceed ¼" in depth is considered cosmetic, and is not covered as part of the delamination warranty due to the sacrificial nature
   of the fiberglass edge strip.
6. Repairs of Acme & Dorf products without expressed written approval from Acme & Dorf shall be the responsibility of the customer and may void any warranty. If required as a part any factory-approved repair, all service time and labor rates shall be determined by Acme & Dorf.
7. Acme & Dorf reserves the right to retain samples, digital images, or other reasonable proof of defect. In the event of a claim, the door shall not be removed from its original opening, or altered in any way that would affect investigation and evaluation, without Acme & Dorf expressed written permission.
8. Warranty period begins at the time of delivery to customer.
9. Acme & Dorf shall have no obligations under this warranty unless and until full payment for the entire order has been received by Acme & Dorf within standard payment terms as set forth by Acme & Dorf. By their acceptance of delivery or product installation, the owner waives all claims for labor or other expenses that may arise from the use of said product.
